Cabinet Refacing Process
What is refacing?
Refacing your cabinetry typically involves the replacement of doors
and drawer fronts and the resurfacing of your cabinet faces to
match. It's a simple process that can breathe a fresh new life into
tired, old and outdated kitchens.
We start by taking off the old doors and drawers. We then sand the
cabinet frame down to insure that the glue will keep either the new
laminate or wood veneer in place. We then apply the new
laminate/wood veneer to the cabinet fronts, sides and bottoms. Your
new doors are then applied with all new hidden hinges and new
handles or knobs of your choice. We then install the new drawer
fronts to the new drawer boxes.
After that your new countertop is then installed and the whole
process usually takes between 3-5 days
